Would You Like Some Limbs?

Would You Like Some Limbs? is an atmospheric narrative-driven game taking place in a dystopian futuristic South Africa.
Inspired by Kafka The Metamorphosis, our game draws a dystopian picture of the business behind body modification and trans-humanism.

This game was developed in 2020 over a period of three months, by four game design students.
We had the occasion to collaborate with three cartoonists / street artists who provided us artworks that the players can see in the different areas of the game.

The South District

Playing with imperfect and colorful elements was an important concept to respect for the South District’s realization.
Street arts and wall lettering gave a strong character to the environment. It also helped in giving a modern touch to the architecture.

Main character's house

A modern and sober place which integrates some colorful details was the main idea for the house’s design.
What I admire in the African countries is the place that the culture kept in people’s lifestyle. That was something I wanted to represent in the game.
